Trusted Factitious News From A Christian Perspective

What is The Daily Stinger all about?

The Daily Stinger is the world’s second best Christian satire site, right behind The Babylon Bee. We’re number two, so we try harder; also, we’re tired of being treated like number two, so we really strain to push out regular content.

We create satire on news, religion, politics, tech, movies, personalities, and some of life’s in-between-moments that Jerry Seinfeld always talked about.

Is everthing on this website 100% factual?

Clearly everything you read on The Daily Stinger is absolutely true. You may find yourself going to a fact-checking website, and then come back to us and say, “Hey, Stingers, I looked up something you said on your website, and the fact-checkers said it’s not true!”

Fact: We think you’ll know in your gut that what we say on The Daily Stinger is better fake news than the fake news site you used to look up that fake fact. After all, who are you gonna believe, your own gut or some crummy fact-checkers who themselves need to be fact-checked?

Could we print this 100% verifiable picture of the word 'truth' if it wasn't -itself- ostensibly 'truth'?

Are Christians allowed to laugh or have a sense of humor?

Yes. In fact, Christians typically have the best sense of humor. We fact checked that.

You said something that offended me

If you can’t learn to laugh at yourself, you can at least learn to laugh at the sound of us laughing at you. It’s fun, you should try it - much better than all that angst and hand-wringing you’ve been doing lately.

“Wait, you guys are laughing at me?? Isn’t that against your Christian ethos or something?

No, see the point above this one. We’re the Christians here and we answer to a higher power, so if you don’t like it, you’ll need to complain directly to Jesus.

“How am I supposed to complain to Jesus?”

That’s easy: first you’ll need to develop an actual relationship with Jesus so that you can talk to him, preferably on a daily basis.

“How do I do that?”

Do we have to do all your work for you? Just find a local church that is Jesus-centered, grace-based, and Bible-focused, then give your life to the Lord Jesus and then you can start complaining to Him directly about how we offended you. If you get that far, we’re confident your original problem will work itself out.
